Cookie Policy
Last Updated: March 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Korynex School (“we”, “us”, “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies on our website. It also explains the choices you have, including how to accept, reject, or manage non-essential cookies.
This Cookie Policy supplements our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal data more broadly. If anything in this Cookie Policy conflicts with the Privacy Policy, the Privacy Policy controls.
1) What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. Cookies help a site remember information about your visit, such as your preferences and whether you have already made a consent choice.
Cookies can also be used to measure site usage and support advertising attribution. In addition to cookies, we may use similar technologies such as pixel tags and server-side event signals. For example, an advertising platform may receive conversion events to measure the performance of campaigns. Where required by law, we only enable analytics and marketing technologies after you provide consent.
2) Cookie types and classifications
Cookies are commonly described by how long they last and who sets them:
- Session cookies last only while your browser is open and are deleted when you close it.
- Persistent cookies remain on your device for a set period (for example, 90 days or 12 months) or until you delete them.
- First-party cookies are set by our website’s domain.
- Third-party cookies are set by other domains (for example, analytics or advertising providers) and may be read across multiple websites.
We also group cookies into categories based on their purpose: Essential, Analytics, and Marketing. These categories match the controls in our cookie banner and cookie preferences panel.
3) Cookie categories we use
A) Essential cookies (always active)
Essential cookies are required for basic site functionality and security. They allow key features such as session continuity, cookie preference storage, and protection against certain types of misuse. Because they are necessary to provide the website, they cannot be switched off through our cookie controls.
If you block essential cookies in your browser settings, parts of the site may not work as intended.
B) Analytics cookies (consent required)
Analytics cookies help us understand how people use the site—for example, which pages are visited most often, which links are clicked, and how visitors navigate between pages. This information helps us improve course pages, webinar listings, and enrollment flows.
When enabled, we use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) with IP anonymization where supported. We use aggregated reporting where possible and keep analytics data for a limited period (typically 14 months in GA4 settings).
C) Marketing cookies (consent required)
Marketing cookies are used to measure advertising performance and support relevant ad delivery. For example, they can help us understand whether someone who clicked an ad later completed an action such as requesting enrollment details.
When enabled, we may use marketing technologies from Google Ads and Meta. These tools may set identifiers such as _gcl_au, _fbp, or _fbc to support attribution and audience measurement. We do not use these tools to collect sensitive categories of data.
4) Cookie list
The table below lists cookies that may be used on this site. Some third-party cookies appear only if you consent to Analytics or Marketing cookies and the related integrations are enabled.
| Name | Purpose | Category | Type | Retention |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| _site_session | Site session continuity | Essential | First-party | Session |
| cookie_consent | Stores your consent choice | Essential | First-party | 12 months |
| _ga | GA4 user identifier | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _ga_XXXXXXXXXX | GA4 session state (10-char GA4 ID) | Analytics | Third-party | 2 years |
| _gcl_au | Google Ads conversion linker | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbp | Meta Pixel browser identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
| _fbc | Meta Pixel click identifier | Marketing | Third-party | 90 days |
5) Third-party providers
Depending on your consent choices and which integrations are active, we may work with these service providers:
- Google LLC (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads measurement)
- Meta Platforms (measurement and advertising attribution)
- Cloudflare (content delivery network and security services)
We do not permit these providers to use site data for their own independent commercial purposes. Where required, these services are enabled only after you provide consent.
6) Managing your cookie preferences
You can manage cookie preferences in three ways:
- On our site: use the “Manage cookie preferences” link in the footer. This opens our consent controls for Analytics and Marketing cookies.
- In your browser: you can delete cookies or block certain cookies using your browser settings. This may affect the site’s functionality.
- Provider opt-outs: some providers offer opt-out tools. You may use them in addition to our on-site controls.
If you reject Analytics or Marketing cookies, we will not activate those categories from our consent system. If any marketing or analytics cookies exist from prior consent, you can remove them by adjusting preferences and deleting cookies in your browser.
